What we collect
When you request quotes, we collect the project details and contact information you submit – ZIP code, project type, material, size, timeline, budget, and your name, email, and phone. We also record technical data (IP address, browser, referring page) and your consent record.
How we use it
We use your information to match you with up to two vetted local countertop professionals and to operate and improve the service. We do not sell your information to a crowd of contractors. Your contact details are shared only with the pro(s) matched to your specific project, and with the service providers that help us run the site (e.g., consent verification and call/lead routing).
Calls and texts – your consent (TCPA)
By submitting the quote form and checking the consent box, you authorize CountertopDesign and the matched pro(s) to contact you at the number and email you provided – including by autodialed or prerecorded calls and text messages – about your project, even if your number is on a Do-Not-Call list. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply.
How to opt out: reply STOP to any text, tell a caller to stop, or email hello@countertopdesign.com. We honor revocation requests promptly (within 10 business days) by any reasonable method. We retain consent records as required by law. We do not share your mobile information with third parties for their own marketing.
Your privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA & state laws)
Depending on your state (including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and Delaware), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to opt out of its “sale” or “sharing” for targeted advertising.
To exercise any right – including Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information – email hello@countertopdesign.com with your request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

We use standard analytics to understand site usage and improve the experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Data retention & security
We keep lead and consent records for as long as needed to provide the service and to comply with legal obligations, then delete or de-identify them. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your data.
